For Tides of Change I was given the daunting task of touching on nine important real world studies funded by Biodiversa+ in a comic set across two backgrounds: a fishing town in Costa Rica and the areas around the Baltic Sea. I adapted an outline from editors at Nature Based Solutions to follow the journey of Sofia, a curious and enthusiastic child hoping to bring back the local mangroves and Dr Lind, a determined scientists and mother who pushes to get eyes on her findings.
